All of our ideas and designs are made in-house by us - 3 playfull personalities with different, creative skills. In 2018 we bumped into each other and began this amazing, sustainable and fun journey together!

- People pay me to draw stuff. I still can’t believe what a blessing that is!
As a child, if I wasn’t drawing, I was reading. Always in search of a new, fictional universe to be sucked into. Always in search of stories. Some of my favorite books, was a series from the 1940s about a girl (called Pernille, actually), who lived somewhere in the countryside, where the sun was always shining, surrounded by siblings, animals and friends. Her mother was an illustrator, working from home, drawing children’s books. I remember thinking ”That woman is getting paid to draw stuff! That must be awesome! THAT’S what I want to do, when I grow up!”
Nevertheless, my eternal search for stories eventually let me to studying danish literature and cultural journalism at The University of Copenhagen, and the childhood dream of drawing for a living, seemed forgotten. Until I one day realized, I always spent three blissful hours in heaven, enjoying making the front covers of my university assignments – and then one dreadful hour actually writing the damn thing! I quit university and spent 2 years taking all the drawing courses I could find and eventually made the cut to The Graphic Arts Institute.
Today I live just outside Copenhagen (where the sun is sometimes shining) surrounded by family, friends and a Welsh Springer Spaniel. I’m getting paid to draw stuff! And actually ... that IS kind of awesome! Right now I’m about to finish the last cards for our coming game MAD GARDENERS and that’s a lot of fun!

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
- The art and craftsmanship of graphic design is wizardry to me. Arrange, combine, drizzle, season and magic happens!
Since I graduated in 1999, I have been working with graphic design – creating book covers, magazines, visual identities, posters and beyond. In 2009 I started out on my own, with even more freedom to create and collaborate. Pernille, whom I first met in a creative workspace in 2012, and I have taught analogue creative workshops together, and we met Kent in 2018 – and were instantly hooked on the fireworks that came out of this brilliant boardgame brain.
In RePlay Copenhagen I am mainly the graphic designer, but has also illustrated our coming card game Little Chef.
KENT TONSGAARD
CREATIVE MANAGER
- There’s nothing like a good story! It can be written, drawn, told - even just imagined.
As a child I loved getting carried away by cartoons, LEGO, board games and other made up universes. I would spent my days after school reading sci-fi and adventure books, drawing pirate maps or write small stories about middle age heroes and heroines.
Later, my interest in storytelling brought me to the University of Copenhagen where I got my Master in Literature in 2018. Afterwards I wanted to use my skills somewhere outside the artistic field and in 2018 I opened Copenhagen Storytellers, Denmark’s first storyteller agency. We produce social media content and help sustainable organizations and companies tell their stories in ways that engage and strengthen their bond with their followers.
In 2018 I also met Pernille and Christine in a creative workspace in Copenhagen. For almost 10 years I had been developing proto types of different board games but I hadn’t had any luck finding the right team - and there they were! In Replay Copenhagen I’m mainly the creative manager coming up with ideas for new board games, themes and mechanisms. As the storyteller I also do all of our communication on social media and website.
